I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge this prestigious and very well run Breed speciality show, it was a great pleasure to judge on the two days on my second visit to Australia, the last time being 2007. I was amazed that the exhibitors travelled vast distances to attend the show. . Thank you to exhibitors for the very good entry of 211. 161 on the Saturday with Dog classes Junior, Intermediate, State Bred, Australian Bred, Open & Veteran. Bitch Classes Junior, Intermediate, State Bred, Australian Bred, Open & Veteran.

On Sunday 11th August entry of 50 for dog classes Baby dog, Minor Puppy Dog, Puppy Dog. Bitch classes Baby puppy Bitch, Minor Puppy Bitch, Puppy Bitch. It was nice the sporting way in which you took my decisions. It was also nice to hear the applause and cheers when each class had the winners placed. The quality of all the dogs and bitches under me was very good. In some classes there was very little between decisions.

1st K Horley/K Osborne’s Pepstaff Bad Kid

4 ½ month old . Dark brindle & white, nice shaped head with defined stop, neat ears, correct expression & bite, nice round dark eye, straight front, level top line, moved well for one so young. It is lovely to see these Baby Puppies as we don’t not see it in the UK. They have to be 6 months old to be shown.

Red & White 5 months old. What a lovely Baby would like to see him when he is older and mature.Very similar to 1st could change places any day, maturing nicely, well handled for one so young, excellent head with correct ear placing, good dark eye, scissor bite, nice front, ample bone for age, moved & handled well.

Dark Brindle Dog, 4 months old, Still a baby needs more time to mature, good shaped head with dark eye, ears ok, ample bone & rib for one so young. Moved well.

6 month old Bitch. Black brindle bitch. 1st 2nd & 3rd could change places any day, Nice head shape with good stop, rose ears, nice stop, scissor bite, nice front ample rib, bent stifle, moved well.

Litter sister to 2nd placing, comments from second apply to this bitch, seems to . There was another sister to 2nd and 3rd in the class, This seems to be a good litter if they all look like 2nd & 3rd in this class.

10 month old brindle bitch, good feminine head which had a nice shape set off with neat ears, dark eye, good bite, plenty bone on front and legs, level top line, moved well.

Please can I thank the committee for the invitation to judge at your club, and the exhibitors for their entries it was a pleasure to judge, the over all quality of both dogs and bitches were an attribute to their owners and handler, the presentation and condition of the both dogs and bitches was outstanding, even in the baby classes, many hours spent with these puppies is now paying back 10 fold, the future looks bright for them.

Red with white blaze, lovely pigmentation, lots of ring presence, correct ears and bite, defined stop, good cheek bumps, wide in front and with a deep brisket, short coupled and good spring of rib, coat short and in fine condition, level topline and moved freely round the ring,

b/b a dog up on his toes, showing lots of expression, nice broad skull and ear placement, distinct stop with correct bite and pronounced cheek bumps, shoulders well laid back and no looseness at elbows, front wide and with lots of bone, strong pasterns lovely depth to brisket, close coupled with a good topline, good spring of rib, moved freely and without effort, coated short and smooth, fits the standard, a well balanced dog.

Red classic head shape and distinct stop, darks eye and good pigmentation, well developed cheek bumps, near ears nice depth to muzzle and correct bite, laid back shoulders straight in front with no weakness to pasterns, a deep brisket, close coupled, good spring of rib, good bend of stifle, held topline when moved.

3rd Darragh Usherin Sacra Blue

White/Black again a fit dog and super condition, typical head shape and deep through stop lovely pigmentation, and correct bite with pronounced cheek bumps, front wide and a nice depth to brisket, short coupled and good topline, well sprung ribs, nice rear angulations with well bent stifles, moved ok round the ring a well balanced dog.

This was a class full of quality and the exhibits are a credit to their breeders and owners and one i will not forget is a while.

1st Carroll/Darragh CH Dreamcatcher hes Contagious

Outstanding b/b classic head shape not over done, good pigmentation, correct bite and well developed cheek bumps, good underjaw, with lots of expression, well laid shoulders, straight in front and wide apart, brisket deep, and good spring of rib, closely coupled, good muscled hocks and bend of stifle, mover round the ring freely maintaining topline on the move. Giving a clean outline when stood fits the standard to a tee. I am pleased to award him the RES C.C

2nd Lunn Starshiraz the Hustler

Red/white another dog of quality, great head neat rose ears, with distinct stop, nice pigmentation, correct scissor bite, defined cheek bumps, and strong underjaw, lot of expression, laid back shoulders and plenty of bone in front with a deep brisket, showing no weakness at pasterns, short coupled and good topline, good muscled hocks and well bent stifle, movement freely round the ring.

3rd Temple CH XAMRIK WOLVERENE

Red with black mask, classic head shape and neat ears, defined cheek bumps, and good underjaw, straight front and plenty of bone deep brisket and short coupled and well bent stifle, held topline when moved, all these dogs can change places.

1st Shaw Supreme CH Belleden Sunstone

I could not believe the age of this dog, he is the best of condition and it showed, a credit to his handler/owner. Red with classic head shape, defined stop and dark eyes, neat rose ears and correct scissor bite strong underjaw and well developed cheek bumps, and nice depth to muzzle, showing los of expression, front straight and wide apart no looseness at elbows and no weakness at pasterns, with a deep brisket, close couples and with good spring of rib, good topline, good muscled hocks and well let down, a nice bend of stifle, coat short and smooth, moved with drive and freely round the ring. Over all balanced dog which fitted the standard. I an pleased to award him DOG C.C.

Brindle and white, broad skull with neat ears, and distinct stop nice depth to muzzle and correct bite, well developed cheek bumps and good pigmentation, nice ring presence, plenty of bone, with straight front and set wide apart, no weakness in pasterns, short coupled, good spring of rib level topline, nice rear angulations and bend in stifle, in good condition with coat short and close. Moved freely round the ring,

Fawn nice head shape and a dark eye, near ears, with correct scissor bite, good underjaw, straight in front and short coupled, good spring of rib, and plenty of bone, maintained topline when on the move.
